The State of Qatar's pharmaceutical services are expanding quickly. A new culture of lifelong learning and dedication to personal growth is being embraced by pharmacists. Qatar's National Health Strategy and the nation's committed pharmacy and healthcare leadership are two of the main forces behind transformation and advancement in pharmacy practice. A national pharmacy school in Qatar University that has received Canadian accreditation has developed a stakeholder engagement strategy that is producing graduates in the nation who have the necessary skill set to contribute effectively to healthcare provider teams.
The emphasis on community pharmacy practice in Qatar is a key breakthrough in pharmacy. As health care services transition toward a primary health care model, this sector is receiving a lot of attention as it advances toward playing a significant role. The National Health Strategy's plans must be implemented, primary care must be established that can raise the standard of care, and community pharmacy practice must advance to the level necessary to play its anticipated crucial role in the delivery of healthcare.
